Who we are

Coinbell is made by Evership Labs [CONFIRM legal entity name and mailing address] ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the Coinbell app and this website, and what we do with it. Questions? Email coinbell@evershiplabs.com.

What we collect

  • Your account. Your email address. You sign in with a link we email you, so we do not store a password. [CONFIRM: update if sign-in changes]
  • Your payment sources. When you connect Stripe or a custom source, we store the details needed to receive payment events, such as a webhook signing secret or key. [CONFIRM how these are stored, for example encrypted at rest]
  • Payment events. For each payment that arrives through a connected source, we store details such as the amount, currency, a label or description, which source it came from, and when it arrived. [CONFIRM the full list of fields stored, including any customer details Stripe sends]
  • Your device. A push notification token and basic device details, such as phone type and app version, so we can deliver notifications.
  • Your settings. Choices you make in the app, such as notification preferences.
  • Your subscription. If you upgrade, the App Store or Google Play handles the payment. We receive your subscription status, not your card details. [CONFIRM billing provider]
  • Usage and diagnostics. [CONFIRM which analytics and crash-reporting tools the app and this site use, or say none are used]
  • Early list. If you join the early list, we store your email address so we can tell you when Coinbell launches.

How we use it

  • To send payment notifications and show your payments in the app.
  • To sign you in, keep your account secure, and prevent abuse.
  • To answer your questions and give support.
  • To run, maintain, and improve Coinbell.
  • To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. [CONFIRM]

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run Coinbell, such as hosting and database services, push notification delivery through Apple and Google, and email delivery. [CONFIRM the list of providers]

When you connect Stripe, data moves between Stripe and Coinbell as described above. Stripe's own policy covers the data Stripe holds.

We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect people's rights and safety. If Evership Labs is part of a merger or sale, your information may transfer as part of it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. [CONFIRM retention rules, such as how long payment history is kept on each plan] You can delete your account from Settings in the app. [CONFIRM what is deleted and how quickly]

Your choices

You can turn off notifications in your phone's settings at any time. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email coinbell@evershiplabs.com. [CONFIRM rights language for the regions you serve, such as California and the EU or UK]

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. [CONFIRM safeguards, such as encryption in transit and at rest and access controls] No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Children

Coinbell is not meant for children under [CONFIRM minimum age, for example 13 or 16], and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above. [CONFIRM how you will notify users of material changes]
